Emile Klein, né Fegté, is a sound editor and re-recording mixer working out of the Los Angeles studio apt-o. Before film, he spent a decade making hit series’ for radio and podcast outlets, and founded the arts nonprofit You’re US. His collaborations with journalists, artists, and filmmakers have been presented globally by such places as the MoMA, NPR, BBC, Locarno, IFFR, the New School, Fordham University, Somerset House, Flaherty Film Seminar, Radiophrenia, XMTR, Veggie Cloud; and covered by publications including the New York Times, BOMB, World Records, PBS, the New Yorker, The Guardian, Vice, Mother Jones, and GQ.

Klein is an alumnus of the Angel Academy of Art (Florence, Italy), Transom, SF State, and the UnionDocs CoLab. He’s received a series of awards for his work in nonfiction sound.
